July 4, 2007

July 4 in Tuscarora is pretty old-fashioned. We have a parade (everyone in town participates plus extras) and a barbecue afterwards. This year Laura, Janet (the teacher from the one-room schoolhouse) and I made floats. It was a blast, and I now have a new life skill: cardboard sculpture. One day I will figure out how to put in photos with captions. I don't know how others do it. But at any rate, the photos are from the parade ( I am the roadster, Janet is the VW and Laura is the Taxi) and the scenic photos are of the incredibly gorgeous Jarbidge area. I may end up having to upload twice to get all the pix in. Happy 4th to all!
